What this site does not do
This site does not sell tours, does not take bookings, and does not earn a commission on any operator's sales. It does not publish first-person trip reports from staff, because none of this site's editorial team has sailed with Lindblad Expeditions or any operator covered here — claiming otherwise would be a fabricated credential, and this site does not do that. Every claim about an operator's onboard experience is sourced from public review platforms and cited in the underlying research, not from firsthand travel.
How the data is kept current
The editorial team maintains the operator and ship dataset — fleet capacity, ice class, pricing, and IAATO membership dates — and re-checks it before each season, since fleets and capacities do change between seasons. Ratings are refreshed on the same schedule.
